About NATIONAL WALLEYE TOUR (NWT)

The National Walleye Tour (NWT) is a premier professional walleye fishing circuit managed by Outdoor TeamWorks, widely recognized as one of the most prestigious and competitive walleye tournament series in North America. The NWT showcases elite talent competing on some of the country’s most productive walleye fisheries.

In 2027, the tour enters a new era with an invitation-only Professional field of 100 anglers, while the Co-Angler division remains open to the public. Four regular-season events take place on top walleye lakes and river systems in Arkansas, Minnesota and Michigan, with a split bait format that allows live bait at select events and requires artificial lures at others. Anglers register, pay and report their catches through the Fishing Chaos platform, which also powers live leaderboards throughout the season.

Competitors earn points at every regular-season event. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top 40 Professional anglers and top 40 Co-Anglers in the official point standings advance to the NWT Championship at Lake of the Woods, Minnesota, a three-day event for the full field of 40 boats.

Known for its competitive payouts, professional tournament standards and strong industry partnerships, the National Walleye Tour continues to elevate the sport of competitive walleye fishing while engaging fans, sponsors and the broader fishing community. Whether you’re a tournament angler, sponsor or passionate fishing enthusiast, the NWT represents the pinnacle of professional walleye tournaments in North America.
